What's in a name? At Eminent Hi-Fi we say your name is everything. Although it may be hard to pronounce Eminent Hi-Fi, it's easy to see why we picked the name. We are a high ranking, outstanding, and distinguished retailer selling electronic systems for reproducing high fidelity sound. Towering above our competition, we set the benchmark for quality customer service and installation. Of course we couldn't make these statements if we didn't have the credentials to back them up. Our evidence of authority varies from several features in national and local publications to our most recent mention in Mobile Electronics Top 100 Installers list. Add in our ultimate sales tool, Bone Crusher, the world's loudest RV, and there's plenty of bragging rights to go around.

Take one step through our door and you will see that we are not your typical car audio establishment. We take pride in providing our customers with a clean, exciting, and friendly atmosphere. When you visit Eminent Hi-Fi we want you to leave with more than just a sales pitch, we want you to leave with an experience. On the sales floor it's okay to touch the products, crank the stereos up, and enjoy yourself while you're shopping. Buying a new car stereo should be FUN.

Our history:

We opened Eminent Hi-fi in December of 2000 with one basic philosophy, "Be the best at what you do!" For nearly ten years we have done exactly that. We have been the best at providing the Rexburg area with industry leading and innovative in-car technology at an incredible value. It didn't take long for consumers to realize our value and it took us only two short years to outgrow two retail locations. Now in our third retail location, located at 224 North 2nd East, we remain fully committed to being the best at what we do... car audio.

Since day one it has been extremely important for us to give back to the community. We have given back by promoting education in area schools with our Win My Ride car give-away, helping the area search and rescue by holding fund raising car shows, and supporting the area D.A.R.E. program. Our Win My Ride promotion received a considerable amount of attention both locally and nationally.

Owner & President

Joey opened Eminent Hi-Fi in December of 2000 after working for several Rexburg and Boise area car audio retailers. Holding both installer and salesman positions he gained knowledge from every store he worked at. An avid IASCA competitor, Joey has multiple IASCA Idaho State Championships as well as an IASCA Zone 6 Championship. Joey was also named as one of Mobile Electronics Top 100 Installers for 2007-2008, a very prestigious award given only to the top 100 installers in the nation yearly.

Jonny Schultz

Store & Web Manager

Jonny came to Eminent Hi-Fi in January of 2002 with four years of prior experience. Working alongside two other Top 100 Installers in Utah he received elite hands-on training in the installation bay. Well known and respected throughout the industry, Jonny was also an IASCA Zone 6 Champion, before taking over judging duties for IASCA, SLAPshow, and db Drag Racing competition circuits. Jonny oversees all aspects of the store: sales, installation, and web development.
